You'll build lasting friendships that continue long after graduation. You'd be doing yourself a tremendous disservice by not at least joining the brotherhood (or sisterhood). In our MSA, we have brothers and sisters from all over the world. My favourite thing to do was to eat cake and rice/anything at all after each event gets over with all the sisters in some dimly lit part of uni. I miss those times terribly. Also I do miss organizing the event itself. Love the part where we had to welcome everyone with a HUGE smile. I really pray we made the day of someone with those gestures and also by babysitting some of your babies!
